What exactly is white note? It’s most definitely not a faulty piece of currency, insists percussionist Bickram Ghosh. “It is,in fact, the amalgamation of the seven notes of music. Like white light can be broken down to the seven colours of the rainbow,” he says. His acting career, which started with a lead role in Hothat Neerar Jonya, may have been short lived but Ghosh has no regrets. “I am not an actor. That was something I did on whim. Moreover,I have done bit roles in films like Bong Connection and Madly Bangalee recently,” he says.

His future film projects include the Ashok Vishwanathan directed Diamond Murders. “I’m quite excited about it because it’s a proper murder mystery on the lines of an Agatha Christie novel. I have used the voices of Sonu Niigaam and Sunidhi Chauhan in the film,” he says.
