Students held for protesting in prohibited area

A group of students,who were protesting against the Kamduni gangrape-murder,were arrested Monday for holding a rally in a prohibited zone and allegedly smearing police officials with colours.

A group of students,who were protesting against the Kamduni gangrape-murder,were arrested Monday for holding a rally in a prohibited zone and allegedly smearing police officials with colours. The students were later released. The administration had recently banned rallies in the area. The arrested students claimed they were holding the rally peacefully and the police came and started shoving them.
