Peace Party of India president Dr Ayub has said that Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Ajit Singh was talking to the Congress for a poll alliance on behalf of the Lok Kranti Morcha, which is a confederation of eight political outfits of UP.

He said that if an alliance was formed, all small parties in the Morcha would share seats with the Congress in the next Assembly polls. However,he said the chances of such an alliance are not bright.

“I am aware of the talks between Ajit Singh and the Congress regarding the alliance. But I do not see any possibility of an alliance between Congress and Lok Kranti Morcha. It seems that RLD,Peace Party and other parties of the Morcha will have to contest the elections on all 403 seats in UP without alliance with any other political party,” said Dr Ayub, who is also the secretary general of Lok Kranti Morcha.
