Student dies under mysterious circumstances

Sartaj Singh,a student of Class XII in Alpine International,died under mysterious circumstances on Monday night. Sartaj’s father Habhajan Singh is a builder and resides in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

ASI Pawan Kumar of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar police post said Sartaj was admitted to a local hospital after his he was taken ill. It has been learnt that Sartaj had flunked in some papers and had applied for rechecking. As per the family,he went out to meet some of his friends on Monday evening and returned late in the night. The next day he fell ill and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he died. The police have conducted a post-mortem and have sent the viscera of the deceased for further probe. The police is not ruling possibility of suicide.
