The legendary maker of fun,quirky and astronomically priced clutches unveiled their latest Astor and Monogram collection at a luncheon hosted by society hostess Chhaya Momaya and Marigold Group CEO,Sangeeta Assomull. Given how popular the bags have become with Indian ladies of means,it wasn’t a surprise that Starboard at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower,the afternoon’s venue,was bursting with guests. The guest of honour was Anna Marshall,vice-president retail,at Judith Leiber. As two ballerinas unveiled the new line,a collective sigh went up from the crowd which included Alka Nishar,Arti Surendranath,Roohi Jaikishan and Deveika Bhojwani. Also present was Leiber’s international designer,Suneet Varma.
