Following technical glitches that caused BMC’s much touted monsoon website to go offline for almost a month after the city first received heavy showers this season, the civic body relaunched it on Wednesday, with some new features and a change in the URL. The website,www.mumbaimonsoon.in,will give monsoon updates for 105 locations across the city. The rainfall data acquired from the BMC’s automatic weather stations installed at 35 locations will be made available every 15 minutes. The website has also been made in the cell phone compatible format. The website that was launched in 2009 was not functional till Wednesday even as heavy showers arrived in the city in the first week of June itself.
