Colin Hanks in Dexter

Star World’s serial killer drama Dexter has landed a newbie in its sixth season — Colin Hanks,son of Tom Hanks. He will join the show,playing an expert on ancient artifact who gets linked to a series of horrific murders. That,of course,would place the Miami Metro Police Homicide Department hot on his trail — and put him square in the sights of Dexter.

But it isn’t confirmed if Colin plays the bad guy — the show’s producer had previously stated that there will not be one main guest star villain for Dexter to chase,as there has been in seasons with John Lithgow and Jimmy Smits. So this could be just a guest role for Colin. But if popularity increases,he could stay around for longer. Indians,however,will have to wait a while for the sixth season,because it goes on air only in the summer this year.
