Many MLAs did not get passes

All legislators could not get passes for the match. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan expressed his inability in providing passes to all the legislators but said that he himself had distributed 100 tickets through the MCA.

Minister for Sports and Youth Padmakar Valvi said the legislators had been accommodated in last-minute adjustment of tickets and some had preferred to return to their hometowns for the long weekend. “We have not been able to give tickets to everyone. But we have managed to satisfy most of them. There was no need to make any alternate arrangement for the legislators,” said Valvi. Earlier,it had been decided that a giant screen would be set up at the CCI lawns for legislators.”
