The Ulta Pulta man is back at doing what he’s best at — taking a potshot at the government.

The Ulta Pulta man is back at doing what he’s best at — taking a potshot at the government. Satirist, writer, director and actor Jaspal Bhatti has announced a “power cut” now. Well, not officially — this is the title of his new comedy feature film, for which he has roped in actor Prem Chopra as “power minister” and Rajesh Puri as “chief managing director” of the onscreen power corporation.

After the success of his film Mahaul Theek Hai — a spoof on the police — Bhatti says Power Cut will be yet another “electrifying comedy”. “It will also have a high voltage love story set against the power politics of India,” explains Bhatti. While the protagonist of the film is being played by Zafar,a student of Mad Arts,Jaspal Bhatti’s film school, the lead actress is Surilie Gautam. The film will be shot in Chandigarh,Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Bhatti is also acting in the film, and has written the script as well.
