The Bombay High Court Wednesday asked the CBI and the state to formulate a mechanism to probe the Adarsh society scam from all angles and update the court after two weeks. A division bench of justices A M Khanwilkar and A P Bhangale asked the state to provide all infrastructure,and extend necessary cooperation to the CBI.

Social activist Simpreet Singh has filed a PIL,saying that since both CBI and state police are involved in the probe,it may create issues of jurisdiction “that might hamper the probe”. The PIL seeks that the entire probe be handed to CBI,because the state’s anti-corruption bureau “could come under pressure” with political leaders involved.
