Tatkare deposes

Sunil Tatkare,Water Resources Minister and a former minister of State for Urban Development,told the commission on Tuesday that he was never concerned with the files or any decisions taken about Adarsh. He also claimed that he could not recollect any of the letters referred to his department at that time.

“Except for rejecting a proposal made by the society seeking additional FSI in July 2004,I am not even remotely concerned with any of the alleged irregularities pertaining to the society,” Tatkare had said in an affidavit filed last May before the commission.

Tatkare had worked under two CMs — Vilasrao Deshmukh (October 1999-March 2002 and May 2002-June 2002) and Sushilkumar Shinde (January 2003-November 2004).
