Warrant against Pooja Bhatt

A local magistrate’s court on Saturday issued a warrant against actor-turned-producer Pooja Bhatt for not obeying the court summons in connection with a case regarding an alleged indecent poster of the movie Rog.

“Bhatt failed to appear before the Bandra court,so a bailable warrant was issued against her”,said advocate Vijendra Jabra,appearing for the complainant Vinod Jain.

On July 14,2008,the Bandra magistrate’s court had discharged Bhatt,co-producer Sujit Singh and their companies saying that there was no sufficient evidence against them. However the session’s court on January 10 this year had quashed the order of the magistrate and had directed the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate to assign the case to a new magistrate to conduct the trial.
