2nd edition of e-Sahitya Sammelan inaugurated

The second edition of e-Sahitya Sammelan was inagurated in the city on Saturday. The sammelan will be presided over by noted poet Grace this year.

Speaking on the occasion,Vivek sawant,managing director,MKCL,said,“The sammelan will see real time involvement by the audiences from across the world. People can see the events and interact with people online. Since the society is getting accustomed to virtual world,it is obvious that Marathi literature too will have to embrace internet to reach out to wider audience.”

Currently,there are around 25,000 blogs that have been written in Marathi. Poet Grace spoke about the importance of literature and the concept of ‘Instant Immortality’.
