Jam With This

When established artists get together to put their creativity to canvas,the result is a beautiful work of art. Five artists are jamming together at ‘Art Jam’ for a good cause. The works of Nikki (Amolika) Oberoi,Cy Wadia,Santanu Borah,Ketaki Pimpalkhare and Sanjay Yamgar are on display at newly launched patisserie and cafe The Flour Works at Kalyani Nagar. This two-day event began on Saturday and also featured musicians Mark (singer-songwriter) and Pratap,and Rachit (singer-songwriter) and crew. Today,the line-up includes a solo set by Vishal Gore at 6 pm followed by Ajala Dhwani Project at 7 pm,and Jackie Panicker and Sudheer Gaikwad at 8 pm. On Saturday,the artists also collaborated live for a work of art which will be up for auction. The proceeds will go to organisations working for the welfare of animals. Add to this art-music melange the delicious tidbits on the menu at The Flour Works — cheesecakes,muffins,tarts,pastries,cookies,cup cakes and a variety of freshly made breads. There’s also sandwiches,thin crust pizzas and rich,dark,Belgian chocolate flavoured with caramel,hazelnut and coffee.
