Munde seeks CBI probe into blast

BJP leader Gopinath Munde on Wednesday asked for a CBI probe into the Pune bomb blast case alleging that the Maharashtra police had failed to investigate the case even after the one month.

Munde was talking to the media persons while on a private visit to the city.

The Maharashtra police have failed to trace which terrorist outfit was involved in the blast or who were the conspirators. It will not be wise to give them more time as it can affect the whole investigation process. Instead it should be handed over to CBI, he alleged.

Regarding support to the Women Reservation Bill Munde said BJP would support the government on the Bill even as other parties do not.

He also said that Maharashtra had got enough representation in the national executive body of the party.
