Pune FC ‘B’,Commandos notch up victories

Deccan ‘C’,Commandos,Pune FC ‘B’ and Fatima registered wins against their respective opponents in the peninsula Land Pune District Football Leagues organised by the Pune District Football Association and held at the Range Hills ground on Tuesday. Deccan FC defeated CAFVD 2-1 with Kapil Patwardhan opening the scoring for the winners in the 14 th minute. Saurabh Shinde doubled the lead in the 23 rd minute and CAFVD could manage only a consolation goal through Sayesh UP. In a group B match,Commandos defeated Unque Wanowarie 3-0 thanks to a hat trick from Ravi Kumbhar. PFC ‘B’ faced little resistance against Sky Hawks before defeating them 3-1,said a press note issued here.

Abdullah Shaikh of Sky Hawks gave his team the lead in the eighteenth minute. PFC came back strongly with Shibu Sunny equalising in the 26 th minute and Stephen Charles scoring twice for his team in the 36 th and 59 th minutes.
