School of Open and Distance Learning at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has commenced admission registrations for the Masters in Business Administration (MBA). The course is being offered in the online and distance learning format for the first time. Admission to the course will be done through an hour-long online CET exam comprising 50 questions of two marks each. The last date for registration is January 24. Instructions for registrations can be found at Once admitted, the end semester exam for this course will be a written one at examination centres located in Pune, Ahilyanagar, and Nashik. The fees for the first year of the programme is Rs 33,430 for students of Maharashtra universities and Rs 35,230 for students from universities outside the state. Eligibility For the 360 seats available and the eligibility is a three-year Bachelor's degree awarded by any of the universities recognised by the University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates from backward class categories, economically weaker section and persons with disabilites from Maharashtra state only) or its equivalent.
