On Saturday,all roads led to Four Points by Sheraton,Nagar Road. From corporate honchos,entrepreneurs,biggies of the hospitality industry to socialites,the hotel played host to the who’s-who of the city. Brian McGuinness,senior vice president,Specialty Select Brands,Starwood Hotels and Resorts,flew down to Pune to grace the occasion. 8.26 Band from Goa took centrestage and kept feet tapping with their peppy numbers. Spirits were high as the bar overflowed with drinks. The snack counters nearby offered delicious prawns,chicken,cottage cheese and stuffed cheese appetisers. Guests mingled with each other whilst taking in the elegance of the interiors. The food corner received full marks for its salad counter and array of main-course dishes including biryanis,Indian gravies and even appams and stew. But the highlight was definitely the dessert section – a haven for those with a sweet tooth. From chocolate brownies to tiramisu,tarts,ice-creams and coffee and cookies,it was pure indulgence. Among others at the do,we spotted Kumar Gera,Sameera Singh,Mahindra Lulla,Shakun Sethi,Anurag Bhatnagar,and Jaswinder Narang.
