Faced with a rebellion at seven Assembly seats, the BJP on Monday expelled seven party leaders, including former MLA B K Chauhan, who had entered the contest from Chamba, and Praveen Sharma, a loyalist of senior leader Shanta Kumar who was contesting from Palampur — a Assembly constituency where party has given ticket to Indu Goswami, the state Mahila Morcha president.
