SEBA HSLC 10th Result 2025: 63.98% students pass matric exam, boys ahead than girls

Amishi Saikia bags the top rank in Assam board Class 10 matric result by scoring 591 (98.50%) out of 600.

Saptarswa Bordoloi and Anirban Borgohain have obtained the second and third ranks respectively, They have scored 590 (98.33%) and 589 (98.17%) marks respectively.

Rank 1 and rank 3 are from Jorhat’s Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School and rank 2 is from Kamrup (M) district’s Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati.

Over and above the Assam board result websites – asseb.in, sebaonline.org and assamresults.in, the HSLC 2025 matric result is also available at ASSEB Results mobile app. Students can download the app from Google Play Store. The ASSEB Results Mobile App has viewing and Class 10 result marksheets downloading facility. The Mobile App, according to the board, also contains some additional features to provide more information to the candidates.

The overall pass percentage last year was 75.7 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased to 75.7 per cent from 72.69 per cent in 2023.

The pass percentage among the boy students in Assam board Matric exams stands at 67.59% while, among the girl students, it is 61.09% this year.

Jorhat, with 10,713 candidates, had a pass rate of 79.61%

Dhubri, with 23,399 candidates, showed a pass percentage of 54.89%

Kamrup Rural followed with 21,075 candidates and a 74.73% pass rate.

West Karbi Anglong had 5,366 candidates and a pass percentage of 61.13%.

Majuli had only 2,982 candidates with a pass percentage of 68.98%

The SEBA Assam Board Class 10 exams last year were held between February 16 to March 4. The overall pass percentage last year was 75.7 per cent.

Step 2- On the homepage, select the Assam HSLC 10th result 2025 link.

Step 3- Enter the roll number and fill out the captcha in the designated boxes.

Step 4- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 5- The Assam board HSLC result 2025 will appear on the screen.

Step 6- For later use, download and take a printout.

In the category-wise analysis, the pass percentage was 51.89% for the Tea Tribe community.

In terms of division, 89,041 candidates secured the 1st Division

This year, 61.09% female passed in the exam

Assam Board has released the results!

In case any failed Assam Board Class 10th HSLC candidate desires to obtain the hard copy of HSLC marks sheets, they will have to apply at the Assam State School Education Board, Division – I office, separately.

This is the first time since 2018, when Assam Board is releasing the HSLC results before April 20!

Last year, the SEBA Assam Board Class 10 result was declared on April 20, 2024. The SEBA Assam Board Class 10 exams last year were held between February 16 to March 4.

The Assam Board SEBA HSLC scorecard will mention the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, marks scored by them in different subjects, etc.

Anurag Doloi from Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School in Jorhat had secured the top position with 593 (98.93 per cent) marks.

Students will be able to check and download the Assam HSLC 10th result marksheet using their roll number.

The Class 10 HSLC 2025 result will also be made available at the education.indianexpress.com, once there is confirmation from the Board.

Students must note the SEBA Assam Board Class 10 result will be made available in the form of a provisional mark sheet, as long as the original mark sheet is not provided, this online mark sheet can only be used by students as a reference.

SEBA Assam Board 2025 Class 10 exams were held between February 15 and March 3, and the practical component of the SEBA Assam board class 10 exams was conducted on January 21 and 22. 

While indianexpress.com reported on Wednesday that the HSLC result will be out on Thursday, however, the CM tweeted that the result is not releasing on April 10. The Assam Board is ready with the Class 10 results and has decided to publish this today at 10:30 am. State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu has confirmed this.

A senior official informed indianexpress.com that the HSLC Class 10th results will be announced on April 10, however, late on April 9, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, posted on microblogging site, X that the Class 10th results will not be declared on April 10.

“I would like to inform all parents and students that the HSLC examination results will not be released tomorrow. Once the results are ready, the board will announce them promptly. Please remain patient.” read CM Sarma post.
