The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) announced the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class 10 results on April 11. The Class 10 matric result link is available at the official websites of the board — asseb.in, sebaonline.org and assamresults.in.

The Class 10 HSLC 2025 are available at the education.indianexpress.com. HSLC students can register to check the register. While the resultsassam.nic.in has been the result hosting website in the past years, this year, the Assam Board result is not available at resultsassam.nic.in.
Out of those who appeared, 2,70,471 candidates successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 63.98%. The pass percentage among the male students is 67.59 per cent and among the girl students, it is 61.09 per cent.
Assam SEBA HSLC Class 10th Result 2025: How to check Matric results
The Assam Board 2025 HSLC exams were conducted between February 15 and March 3 and the practical part of the ASSEB Class 10 matric exam was conducted on January 21 and 22. ASSEB is formed by merging the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).
Last year, the SEBA Assam Board Class 10 result was declared on April 20, 2024. The SEBA Assam Board Class 10 exams last year were held between February 16 to March 4. The overall pass percentage last year was 75.7 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased to 75.7 per cent from 72.69 per cent in 2023.

Saptarswa Bordoloi and Anirban Borgohain have obtained the second and third ranks respectively, They have scored 590 (98.33%) and 589 (98.17%) marks respectively.
Rank 1 and rank 3 are from Jorhat’s Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School and rank 2 is from Kamrup (M) district’s Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Noonmati.
While the resultsassam.nic.in has been the result hosting website in the past years, this year, the Assam Board result is not available at resultsassam.nic.in.
Over and above the Assam board result websites – asseb.in, sebaonline.org and assamresults.in, the HSLC 2025 matric result is also available at ASSEB Results mobile app. Students can download the app from Google Play Store. The ASSEB Results Mobile App has viewing and Class 10 result marksheets downloading facility. The Mobile App, according to the board, also contains some additional features to provide more information to the candidates.

The date for providing of the HSLC 2025 matric hard copies of certificate cum marks-sheet for the passed candidates will be notified in “due course of time”, the Assam board said. Students can check and download the HSLC marksheets online from the official websites of the board — asseb.in, sebaonline.org and assamresults.in.
In addition to the online result websites - asseb.in, sebaonline.org and assamresults.in, the Class 10 matric 2025 result is available also on a mobile App - ASSEB Results. Students will have to download it from the Google Play Store. The Mobile App will have viewing as well as downloading facility of the Assam board Class 10 result marksheets. "The Mobile App also contains some other features, for providing additional information to the candidates," the board said.

Saying that, it is concerning that the pass percentage among Scheduled Castes (58.56%) and Tea Garden communities (51.89%) remains below the state average of 63.98% in HSLC 2025, the education minister of the state, Ranoj Pegu said: "In 2025–26, the Education Department will prioritise focused interventions in these two social sectors to bridge the learning gap and promote inclusive educational growth."

A total of 4,19,078 students appeared for the SEBA Assam Board Class 10 exam last year, of them, as many 3,17,317 students passed the exam, with 1,05,873 securing first division. The overall pass percentage was 75.7 per cent, with male pass percentage being 77.3 per cent and female pass percentage being 74.4 per cent. Anurag Doloi from Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School in Jorhat had secured the top position with 593 (98.93 per cent) marks.
