Assam Board HS Class 12 exams were held between February 13 and March 17 in two shifts, and the practical component of the ASSEB HS exams was conducted from January 29 to February 10. This year, 3,02,420 ASSEB students have registered for their Assam board HS exams — science, arts, commerce and vocational streams. The AHSEC Arts stream has the highest (2,30,091) number of students, followed by science with 57,724 students, Commerce with 17,869, and Vocational Education has 1,241 students.
Students will have to collect the original Assam Board HS mark sheet from the schools later. This online mark sheet can only be used by students as a reference for college admission purposes. Hard copies of Assam board Class 12 HS markssheet will not be provided to failed candidates and students appearing under “certain subjects category”. If any failed candidate, or a candidate taking the exam under “certain subjects category” wants to obtain the hard copy of AHSEC Class 12 marksheet, they will have to apply at the Assam State School Education Board, Division-2, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati, office separately.

Candidates whose results are marked as "withheld" must contact the Controller of Examinations to have their results released.

The app offers both viewing and downloading facilities for mark sheets. Additionally, it includes several other features designed to provide extra information and support to the candidates.
Candidates who wish to apply for both re-checking of their answer scripts and obtain scanned copies must do so through the official website of ASSEB, Div-II (formerly AHSEC). The application portal (link) will be activated two days after the declaration of the Higher Secondary Final Examination 2025 results.
A candidate with eligible status due to Passing, Repeating, or Compartmental results—as stated in the mark sheet—may appear in the regular examination held in the year immediately following. Candidates appearing for Compartmental or Betterment exams will be allowed only one opportunity to take the next scheduled examination.

The results of re-checking will be declared within 30 days from the last date of receipt of the application, as announced on the official website.
If a candidate’s marks are reduced after the re-checking of answer scripts, the reduced marks will be considered final, and the certificate-cum-marksheet will be prepared accordingly.
The re-checking process shall include the following:
Candidates should note that the re-checking of answer scripts does not involve a re-evaluation of the content of the answers.
The fee for re-evaluation and obtaining a scanned copy of the answer script (for all theory papers only) is Rs 500 per subject.

An eligible candidate under compartment, betterment or repeat category will be able to appear in the regular examination in the year immediately following the year in which the candidate passed/ repeat/ compartmental as mentioned in the mark-sheet. For the Assam board Class 12 HS compartmental and betterment exam, candidate shall be given only one chance to appear in the next examination.
After declaration of results, those candidates whose Assam board Class 12 HS 2025 results have been shown withheld have to contact the Controller of Examinations to get the results declared. However, the candidates concerned will apply formally through the Head of the Institution. The withheld result will not be declared if the candidate does not apply within 30 days from the day of declaration of result.
