Hard copies of Assam board Class 12 HS markssheet will not be provided to failed candidates and students appearing under “certain subjects category”. If any failed candidate, or a candidate taking the exam under “certain subjects category” wants to obtain the hard copy of AHSEC Class 12 marksheet, they will have to apply at the Assam State School Education Board, Division-2, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati, office separately.

AHSEC has declared HS results on various dates in recent years—May 9 in 2024, June 6 in 2023, and even as late as July 31 in 2021. The 2025 results are expected to follow a more streamlined timeline, helping students with quicker access to higher education admissions.
In 2023, the overall HS pass percentages varied by stream—Arts stood at 70.12%, Science at 84.96%, and Commerce at 79.57%. The total number of candidates was over 2.6 lakh, with significant improvements noted in the 2024 results released a year later.
In 2024, AHSEC recorded an overall pass percentage of 88.64%. Stream-wise performance included Arts at 88.24%, Science at 90.29%, Commerce at 88.28%, and Vocational at 85.78%. Girls outperformed boys across all streams. Top rankers included Nikhilesh Dutta, Sukanya Kumar, and Sankalpjit Saikia.
