BSEB Bihar Board 12th Result 2025: When is Matric results date?

This time, 12 lakh 80 thousand 211 students appeared for the Intermediate examination, out of which 11 lakh 7 thousand 330 candidates passed, which is 86.50% of the total candidates. To check your Senior Secondary Annual Examination 2025 results from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) in Patna, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official websites — interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Examination Results” section.
Step 3: Select “Senior Secondary Annual Examination 2025”.
Step 4: Choose your respective stream (Science, Commerce, Arts, or Vocational).
Step 5: Enter your Roll Number and Roll Code in the designated fields.
Step 6: Click on the “Submit” button to view your result. Ensure to download your scorecards for future reference.

In the BSEB Inter 2025 Arts stream, a total of 6,11,365 students appeared, including 2,30,096 boys and 3,81,269 girls. Among them, 1,56,937 students secured a first division, 1,66,300 obtained a second division, and 90,647 passed with a third division. Overall, 5,05,884 students cleared the exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 82.75%.

In the Commerce stream of the BSEB Inter 2025 exams, a total of 63,821 students appeared, including 22,963 boys and 11,858 girls. Among them, 22,379 students secured a first division, 11,429 achieved a second division, and 1,429 passed with a third division. In total, 60,642 students cleared the exam in this stream, resulting in a pass percentage of 94.77%.

A total of 6,33,896 students appeared for the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025 in the Science stream, including 3,89,262 boys and 2,44,634 girls.

Among them, 3,29,163 students secured a first division, 23,457 obtained a second division, and 7,710 passed with a third division.

In total, 5,88,330 students cleared the exam in this stream, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 89.66%.

Students who do not pass the exam, the BSEB Class 12 Compartment Exam 2025 will provide a second chance. The board will announce the dates for these exams soon. Students who fail in one or more subjects can reappear for the specific paper to secure their qualifying certificate for Class 12.

In the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025, a total of 86.50% of candidates have passed. Among them, 5,08,540 secured the first division, 5,07,002 passed in the second division, and 91,788 achieved the third division. Out of 6,37,797 girls who appeared for the exam, 5,59,097 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 87.67%. Meanwhile, 6,42,414 boys took the exam, with 5,48,233 passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 85.34%.

This year, the results for 12,80,211 candidates who appeared in the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025 have been announced within 27 days of the evaluation process. The examination concluded on February 15, 2025, and the evaluation of answer sheets commenced on February 27. After reviewing over 68 lakh copies and an equal number of OMR sheets, the BSEB Inter Annual Exam results were declared today within 27 days. According to BSEB's result statement, this marks the seventh consecutive year of setting a national record.

This year, the online examination form for the BSEB intermediate special examination and inter compartmental examination can be filled from April 1 to 8. The committee has set a target to release the result of Intermediate Special Examination, 2025 and Intermediate Compartmental Examination, 2025 by May 31 so that the students appearing in this examination do not waste one year and they can take admission in educational institutions to pursue higher education in this session. The examination reforms implemented by the committee by introducing important technological changes in the entire examination system have received recognition at the national level. Chairman, Bihar School Examination Board has been awarded the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration on the occasion of Civil Services Day, 2022 for "Multiple Innovations and Extensive Reforms in Examination Systems and Processes in Bihar School Examination Board".

• Students of CBSE/ICSE/other examination boards are enrolling in Bihar Board in large numbers every year.

• In the year 2024, about 96 thousand students from other boards have enrolled in class 11th in educational institutions affiliated to Bihar Board.

• As a result of the online enrollment system started for class 11th through OFSS, from the year 2018 to the year 2024, more than 6.90 lakh students from other boards have taken admission in class 11th in educational institutions affiliated to Bihar Board.

This year also, Bihar Board printed separate copies and separate OMR sheets (with barcode and lithocode) for each subject with the name of each student along with their photo. Thus, this year also, pre-printed copies (with barcode and lithocode) were made with the name of all the students along with their photo and this experiment was successfully implemented in Bihar Board.

The results of Inter exams are declared by state education minister Sunil Kumar at the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna office today (March 25). The Bihar class 12 result scorecards are available at the official websites – interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com.

This year, a total of 12,80,211 candidates appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12 examinations in 2025. The overall pass percentages for different streams are as follows: 82.75% of students cleared the exam in the Arts stream, while the Commerce stream recorded a pass percentage of 94.77%. In the Science stream, 89.66% of students successfully passed the examination. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 86.56 per cent, slightly lower than last year’s 87.21 per cent but higher than 83.73 per cent recorded in 2023.
