The pass percentage is 81.11%. A total of 4,70,845 BSEB students secured a first division, including 2,53,754 boys and 2,17,091 girls. In the second division, 4,84,012 students passed, with 2,29,958 boys and 2,54,054 girls. Moreover, 3,07,792 students cleared the exam with a third division, comprising 1,38,144 boys and 1,69,648 girls.
The Bihar Board class 10 exams this year were conducted across 1,677 centers in Bihar, with 15.85 lakh students taking part. Among them, 8,18,122 were girls, and 7,67,746 were boys. The BSEB exams were held in two shifts each day—the first shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. The top three rank holders in the BSEB Class 10 exam last year were Shivankar Kumar, who secured the first rank with 489 marks, followed by Adarsha Kumar in second place with 488 marks. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is declaring result on March 29. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor has confirmed that the results will be announced in a press conference, where Education Minister Sunil Kumar will also be present. According to the BSEB, 39 students were expelled for using unfair means during the exams. Each subject carried 100 marks, and students needed to secure at least 33 per cent to pass. Those who fail to meet the passing criteria will have the opportunity to appear for compartment exams to improve their scores.
