I haven't finalized my plans yet, but I am leaning towards pursuing my studies in Canada. I'm considering studying psychology.  What was her study schedule?

I treated my textbooks like a bible, reading every bit of them without leaving anything out. I was fond of taking notes and would typically make 2-3 sets of notes throughout the year. I prefer writing and learning over speaking and learning, often scribbling down my notes diligently. I found that the act of writing helped solidify my understanding of the material.

Evaluation days were reduced from 12 to about nine by setting up more evaluation centres. Because of this, even though the number of students and answer sheets have increased manyfold from 2023, evaluation was done in the same time as last year

In Class 12, examinations of five new subjects were conducted -- Kokborok, Physical Activity Trainer, Land Transportation Associate, Electronics and Hardware, and Design Thinking and Innovation. 

CBSE officials attributed the rise in pass percentage to an increase in the number of competency-based questions in the exams this year. 

The pass percentage in the Class 12 exam saw a marginal increase of 0.65 percentage points from last year to 87.98.

The highest number of full marks scorers was in Painting at 10,402, followed by Chemistry at 2,152 and Psychology at 2,134.
Girls continued to outshine boys in the board exams while pass percentage and the number of students scoring above 90 and 95 per cent witnessed marginal increases from last year.

With the CBSE Class 12 results being out, students can now appear for competitive exams and get enrolled in UG programmes. While most UG entrance tests are already over, CUET UG 2024 is set to start tomorrow, May 15.

Incidentally, the Bengaluru region recorded the lowest pass percentage in South India, with Trivandrum topping at 99.9 per cent, followed by Vijayawada (99.04 per cent), and Chennai (98.4 per cent). A total of 21,069 students (11,184 boys and 9,885 girls) appeared for the Class 12 exam from the Bengaluru region, with 20,353 students securing pass marks.

The exams for CBSE Class 10 science, mathematics and social science were opted by 22,62,692 students each and thus all three days, CBSE has conducted examinations of these students at 7,612 examination centres and the examinations were conducted in 94,279 rooms with the help of 1,88,558 assistant superintendents

- Class 12 students who were unable to pass one subject and are placed in the compartment category

- Students who were declared by replacing 6th or 7th subject can appear in the failed subject

- Class 12 students who were declared pass but wish to improve their performance in one subject

A total of 2,58,78,230 answer sheets were evaluated for both CBSE Classes 10 and 12, for which a total of 1,48,27,963 answer sheets were for the Class 10 examination, while a total of 1,10,50,267 answer sheets were for the Class 12 examination.

s per the data shared by Kejriwal, Delhi government schools have improved their pass percentage from 91.59 per cent in 2022-23 to 96.99 per cent in 2023-24.  According to the data shared by CBSE, Delhi West region recorded pass percentage of 95.64 per cent, while Delhi East recorded pass percentage of 94.51 per cent.

The board has not announced any merit list in the CBSE Class 12 results declared today. "As per the earlier decision of the board t avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list is declared," the CBSE said while announcing the Class 12 results today.

Last year, it was 84.67 per cent. Girls have fared better than boys by 6.40 per cent points. The pass percentage among the transgender students is 50 per cent this year. Step 3: Key in the roll number, school number and admit card ID

Step 4: Submit and download CBSE Class 12 result

- Class 12 students who were unable to pass one subject and are placed in the compartment category

- Students who were declared by replacing 6th or 7th subject can appear in the failed subject

- Class 12 students who were declared pass but wish to improve their performance in one subject

If the students are unsatisfied with the Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE results, they can request for the re-evaluation of answers.

Students can dial the tollfree number 1800-11-8004 from anywhere in India to access CBSE’s tele-counseling helpline, providing centralised support, information, and useful tips to address result-related anxiety or stress. Additionally, the 'Counselling' link  (cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/prunit_temp/index.html) on the CBSE website will offer further assistance and resources to stakeholders.

This year, the first phase of CBSE tele-counseling was conducted before, during, and after the exams. Now, during the second phase, a comprehensive team of 65 professionals including principals, trained counselors, special educators from CBSE-affiliated government and private schools, and psychologists will provide tele-counseling round the clock for one week.

CBSE will start its free psychological counseling services from May 14. The psychological counseling services will be operating 24/7 for a week.

The CBSE has also announced the Class 10 results for the 2024 board exams. 

The CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams will be held from July 15. The CBSE 2024 Class 12 supplementary exams will be held on the same syllabus on which the main exam was conducted.

These students will be able to appear in the CBSE Class 12 supplementary exams. 

- Class 12 students who were unable to pass one subject and are placed in the compartment category

- Students who were declared by replacing 6th or 7th subject can appear in the failed subject

- Class 12 students who were declared pass but wish to improve their performance in one subject

Exams for 124 Vidhya Jyoti Schools of Tripura were conducted for the first time by the CBSE.

Evaluation days were reduced from 12 days to about nine days by making more evaluation centres, CBSE said.

The exams for CBSE Class 10 science, mathematics and social science were opted by 22,62,692 students each and thus all three days, CBSE has conducted examinations of these students at 7,612 examination centres and the examinations were conducted in 94,279 rooms with the help of 1,88,558 assistant superintendents.

In addition to Class 10, examinations of one and two subjects of Class 12 along with mathematics and social science were also conducted on the same day.

The CBSE 2024 Class 12 board exams will start on February 15, 2025.

CBSE will be issuing the merit certificate to the top 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects.

The CBSE Class 12 merit certificate 2024 will be made available in the DigiLOcker of the student concerned.

The board has not announced any merit list in the CBSE Class 12 results declared today. "As per the earlier decision of the board t avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list is declared," the CBSE said while announcing the Class 12 results today. 

Also, it added, the board will also not award any first, second or third divisions to its students.
