CBSE invites applications from single girl child for merit scholarship schemes

As of now, the Board has started the application process for two scholarships with a deadline of December 23.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is inviting online applications from eligible students for the merit scholarship schemes. As of now, the Board has started the application process for two scholarships with a deadline of December 23.

These two scholarships are:

— Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2024 Scheme: The Board has asked for online applications for Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Children who have passed Class 10 in 2024 from CBSE and studying in Class 11 from the CBSE affiliated Schools.

— Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 (Renewal 2024) Scheme: Online applications for renewal of CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X awarded in 2023.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship: How to apply 

Step 1: Visit the official website — cbse.nic.in

Step 2: Click on ‘Single girl child scholarship X-2024 REG’

Step 3: Then, click on the designated scholarship application link

Step 4: On the new tab, select the type of application — fresh or renewal.

Step 5: Now click on SGC-X fresh application or renewal

Step 6: Fill out the application form, upload documents

Step 7: Submit the Single Girl Child Scholarship application, and download the form for future reference,

Under the Single Girl Child scholarship scheme, students will get Rs 500 per month. The monthly tuition fee must not exceed Rs 1,500 per month in Class 10 and 10 per cent enhancement in Class 11 and Class 12.
