A total of 213 institutes had Science stream this year. From these, a total of 5791 students registered, 5636 students appeared and 3834 students passed the exams.

This time, 2831 boys and 54,9222805 girls appeared for the exam. Out of these, 1831 boys and 2003 girls passed the exams.The pass percentage of boys (out of total boys appeared) is 64.67, while the overall pass percentage is 32.48 per cent. Similarly, the pass percentage of girls is 71.40, but the overall girls pass percentage is 35.53 per cent.

81 students have been given compartment. 

A total of 1055 institutes had Science stream this year. From these, a total of 1,16,630 students registered, 1,15,895 students appeared and 1,00,757 students passed the exams.

This time, 60,973 boys and 54,922 girls appeared for the exam. Out of these, 52,567 boys and 48,190 girls passed the exams.The pass percentage of boys (out of total boys appeared) is 86.21, while the overall pass percentage is 45.31 per cent. Similarly, the pass percentage of girls is 87.74, but the overall girls pass percentage is 31.1541.58 per cent.

798 students have been given compartment. A total of 292 schools recorded 100 per cent result.

A total of 406 institutes had Commerce stream this year. From these, a total of 26,089 students registered, 25,897 students appeared and 21,308 students passed the exams.

This time, 16,466 boys and 9,431 girls appeared for the exam. Out of these, 13,239 boys and 8,069 girls passed the exams.The pass percentage of boys (out of total boys appeared) is 80.40, while the overall pass percentage is 51.12 per cent. Similarly, the pass percentage of girls is 85.55, but the overall girls pass percentage is 31.15 per cent.

132 students have been given compartment. A total of 92 schools recorded 100 per cent result.

This time, a total of 1,30,771 girls appeared for the exam, out of which 1,14,516 girls passed the exam. The pass percentage of girs (out of total boys appeared) is 87.56 per cent, while the overall pass percentage of girls was recorded at 48.68 per cent.

This time, a total of 1,04,447 boys appeared for the exam, out of which 75,913 boys passed the exam. The pass percentage of boys (out of total boys appeared) is 72.68 per cent, while the overall pass percentage of boys was recorded at 32.37 per cent.

This year, too, girls have outperformed boys by scoring a pass percentage of 48.68 per cent, while boys scored 32.27 per cent.

This year, a total of 2,37,750 students registered for the CHSE Odisha 2 exams, of which 2,35,218 students appeared and 1,90,429 students passed the exams.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage is 78.88%. A total of 1,81,869 students passed in Odisha Board Class 12 exams 2023 for arts stream. A total of 32,782 students got the first division while 32,461 secured the second division. A total of 1,16,179 students got the third division in CHSE Odisha +2 exam.

Students who fail to clear the exams will be able to appear for the Odisha Board compartment exams.

A total of 3,84,597 students appeared for the Odisha board class 12 exams.

This year, the pass percentage of the Science stream is 86.93% which is higher than the Commerce stream (82.27%) and Arts stream (80.95%).

The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha was established in accordance with the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 to regulate, control and develop Higher Secondary Education in the State of Orissa. The administrative function of the Council commenced from 7th September 1982 in a rented building at Budheswari Colony, Bhubaneswar.

"Since CHSE has conducted the examinations in pre-Covid pattern, there is a decline in the pass percentage. Also, students who appeared plus-II this year had appeared board exam for the first time. They had not written the matriculation exam in 2021 because of Covid," said school and mass education secretary IAS Aswathy S.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage was 78.88 per cent. A total of 1,81,869 students passed in Odisha Board Class 12 exams 2023 for the arts stream. A total of 32,782 students got the first division while 32,461 secured the second division. A total of 1,16,179 students got the third division in CHSE Odisha +2 exam.

As many as 3,84,597 students in arts, science, and commerce await Class 12 Odisha board results. The examinations this year were held between February 16 and March 20. 

Announcing the Odisha Class 12 result date and time, the Council said that they are declaring the results of Arts, Commerce, Science and vocational streams on the same day this time. 

In addition to the chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in, the Odisha board CHSE plus 2 results 2024 will also be available to the students through their HS school e-space and from Digilocker.

The Odisha board Class 12 result time is not announced yet. The Council while announcing the Odisha Class 12 result date said that the CHSE result will be declared in the afternoon. However, as per reports, the result will likely be announced at 4:30 pm.
