CUET PG 2024: NTA releases subject-wise dates; exam in three shifts

CUET PG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) – 2024 from March 11 till 28 in CBT (Computer Based Mode) throughout India and in 24 cities outside India.

The CUET PG 2024 examination will be conducted for 157 subjects for 4,62,589 unique registered candidates and they will be administered 7,68,389 tests. Candidates were given an option for choosing a maximum of four test papers / subjects.

This time, the exam will be held in three shifts — the first shift will be conducted from 9 am till 10:45 am, second shift will be held from 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third shift will be from 4:30 pm till 6:15 pm. Each shift will be for 105 minutes duration.

The total number of registrations have slightly increased from last year’s 4.5 lakh registrations to 4.6 lakh this time. The number of female registrations is higher than male registrations, similar to last year’s trend. This time, out of the 462586 total registrations, 247990 are female candidates, 214587 are male candidates and nine registrations have been done under the third gender category.

In terms of state-wise registration, Uttar Pradesh topped the list with a total of 99,717 registrations, followed by Delhi which saw 65,275 registrations, Kerala with 30,462, Bihar with 28,181 registrations and Odisha with 20,873 registrations.
