CUET PG Admit Card 2024 OUT Updates: NTA hall tickets released for March 11 exams

To download the CUET PG hall ticket, candidates will have to use their application numbers and date of birth.

If the candidates find some discrepancies in CUET PG admit card, they should contact NTA immediately.

The NTA has released the CUET PG 2-24 hall ticket for the March 11 exams. The admit cards for the later exams will be issued subsequently. The CUET PG 2024 hall ticket is available at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

While the CUET PG exam was not compulsory for all central or state universities of the country, a total of 66 universities (including 27 central universities) participated in the exam in the first year, which increased to 142 in the second year of the exam (2023). The number has now increased to 186 now, as per the list available on the NTA website.

As soon as the testing agency releases the admit card, students will be able to download them from the official website – pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

-- Admit Card along with Undertaking downloaded from the Samarth website (a clear printout on A4 size paper)

-- Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the government – PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ EAadhaar/ Ration Card./ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof. 

-- PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming relaxation under PwBD category. The scribe must also carry an Undertaking regarding educational qualification, etc, passport size photograph, valid government identity proof.

-- A photograph same as uploaded in the application form.

-- Drinking water in a transparent bottle

-- A simple transparent pen (Blue/Black)  

In 2023, a total of 2,09,740 male (unique) candidates, 2,49,332 female (unique) candidates and 11 transgender (unique) candidates registered for the exam.  This time, out of the 462586 total registrations, 247990 are female candidates, 214587 are male candidates and nine registrations have been done under the third gender category.

No, you cannot change the exam city or centre after the admit card is issued. Choice of exam cities displayed to the candidates will be based on permanent and correspondence addresses only filled during online application form of CUET PG 2024.

Step 4: The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Save and download the admit card for future use.

Candidates need to check the admit card carefully for all particulars e.g. Roll No. Name, Question Paper Code, Date of Birth, Gender, Examination Centre Name, City, and Category etc. 

Admissions will be handled at the level of each of the participating Universities for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CUET-PG results, the respective Universities will declare the counselling/admission schedule and merit list based on CUET-PG 2024 score and any other criteria of participating universities.

Candidates are not allowed to carry instruments, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper/ stationery/ textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone/ earphone/ microphone/ pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room. 

The entry and exit timings of each candidate will be accoridng to the shift timings, that will be allotted to them in the admit card. The shift timings and schedule is as follows:

The marking scheme is as follows:

(i) Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
(ii) Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
(iii) Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
(iv) If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
(v) If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
(vi) If none of the options is found correct or a Question is found to be wrong or a Question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4). 

The name of test centre will be mentioned on the admit card, while the city slip will only state the exam city.

Key points to remember:

-- Candidates can choose a maximum of four question paper codes.

-- The candidate can choose a General paper as a Subject as there would be no general test with each paper as previous years. The comprehension part of these two General papers would be in English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration.

-- The duration of the Exam would be 105 Minutes.

-- The Question paper will have 75 Questions.

-- Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

-- Languages papers will be in the concerned language only.

-- M.Tech/Higher Sciences will be in English only. 

-- Acharya papers will be in Sanskrit except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System, and Baudha Darshan.

-- Humanities, Sciences, and Common papers would be bilingual (English & Hindi).

-- The examination would be conducted in three shifts.

-- The English version of the questions in all the question papers except languages and Acharya will be taken as final.

No, the CUET PG city slip and admit card are not same. While CUET PG admit card will allow entry to the exam hall and will contain roll number and other details, CUET PG city slip will only have the exam city mentioned on it.

In CUET PG 2024, each question carries 4 marks, but there will be negative marking as well. For every incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted.

The CUET PG 2024 will be held for 157 subjects for 4,62,589 unique registered candidates and they will be administered 7,68,389 tests. Candidates were given an option for choosing a maximum of four test papers / subjects.

This time, the exam will be held in three shifts — the first shift will be conducted from 9 am till 10:45 am, second shift will be held from 12:45 pm to 2:30 pm, and the third shift will be from 4:30 pm till 6:15 pm. Each shift will be for 105 minutes duration.

NTA will release CUET PG 2024 admit cards today (March 7). The time of release of the hall tickets has not bee announced yet.
