
CUET Admit Card 2022 Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the admit cards for the Central University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022 for phase II students whose exam is due on August 4,5 and 6. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from the official website — cuet.samarth.ac.in — by logging in through their registered credentials.
Earlier, the NTA had released the city intimation slip for registered candidates, which had the name of the city in which the candidate will have to take the CUET-UG along with the date (or dates) of the exam. Now, the candidates will be given the exam date, time and exam centre address.
To download the hall ticket, candidates simply have to log on to their account at the official website by typing in your application number and date of birth. Students who wish to request a change of their exam date or centre can do so by sending an email to the NTA. Candidates may call NTA at 011-40759000 or send an e-mail at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.
The Phase I exams were conducted on July 15, 16, 19 and 20, and the second phase exams are scheduled to take place on August 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 20. The first phase was marred with technical issues with some students alleging that the NTA changed the exam centres at the last minute. This led to confusion and some students even missed their CUET. However, the UGC has announced that students who missed their exam will not be offered another opportunity.

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar today announced the exam dates for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Postgraduate courses. The exams will be held between September 1 to 11 at various centres across the country. Read more
Candidates have been given a choice to either avail the examination facility at the different City allotted now or exercise the option to appear in the earlier City at a later date i.e., after 10 August 2022. These candidates are requested to exercise this option before downloading their Admit Cards and their examinations will be scheduled after 10 August 2022. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed 19 candidates who missed the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) in July due to last-minute changes in examination centres to sit for a retest. Some of the candidates who were earlier scheduled to appear on August 4, 5, and 6 August 2022 are shifted to August 12, 13, and 14 2022 due to various entrance examinations like MHTCET. Section II: A candidate’s knowledge of the fundamental disciplines they want to study at the undergraduate level will be evaluated in this part. In accordance with this, they can choose up to six subjects from a list of 27 including Accountancy/Book Keeping, Biology/ Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics/Business Economics, Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Geography/Geology, History, Home Science, Knowledge Tradition and Practices of India, Legal Studies, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physical Education/NCC /Yoga, Physics etc.
In the Section II paper, which is also 45 minutes long, a candidate must attempt 40 out of 50 questions.

As the exam dates draw closer, students will have to start their last minute preparations, to ensure they have covered all the major topics while keeping calm and taking care of their health. Here are some tips and tricks to fully and effectively utilise the last few days before the CUET UG 2022 exam.
At this stage, students should no longer be starting new topics for study. They should simply focus on their revision notes or just skim through the NCERT textbooks, glancing at the content, and preparing mostly mental notes on the conceptual understanding of a chapter/ topic/ sub-topic. As many as 49,915 candidates out of the 59.633 registered candidates appeard from Uttar Pradesh in CUET Phase 1. This is the highest number among all states, followed by Bihar and MAdhya Pradesh where 20,840 and 19,032 candidates appeared in the exam respectively.
A total of 1.91,586 students appeared in the phase 1 of the CUET-UG 2022 out of 250495 candidates who were alloted the centres. As many 9,90,469 candidates registere to appear for the CUET 2022.
Candidates have the option to appear for CUET-UG in 13 languages. The maximum number of applicants, predictably, has registered to take the exam in English, followed by Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Malayalam.

Out of the total 9.9 lakh CUET applicants, over half (5.5 lakh) are men, 4.3 lakh are women and 11 are from the third gender category.
Candidates should be particularly aware that certain items are not allowed inside the exam hall like mobile phones etc. Also remember these things:
– Documents to be carried: Necessary documents on the day of the examination.
– Examination timings: Examination start time; time slot for formalities and checks; time at which students should reach the centre etc.
– Examination pattern: Distribution of subjects across the slots, number of questions, time per subject, marking scheme etc.
– Computer-based test rules and regulations (Appendix V) – Detailed information on the exam interface.

Although CUET-UG was meant to be compulsory for all central universities initially, the government eventually exempted eight Central Universities in the Northeast and one in Uttarakhand from participating in this test this year. In Northeast, Sikkim University, Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur University, Assam University, Nagaland University, Tripura University, Mizoram University and North-Eastern Hill University in Meghalaya have been exempted from CUET. As the second phase of CUET UG 2022 is about to begin, students have once again taken to social media platforms to raise the issue of exam dates clasing with MHT CET. In the first phase of the CUET UG 2022 exam, candidates had taken to Twitter with complaints that the dates of the CUET UG and NEET UG exams were clashing, making it impossible for them to appear for both tests. However, the UGC has announced that students who missed their exam will not be offered another opportunity. “In some cases, a few students reached the centres after 9.30 pm, after the commencement of the first session in the morning slot. It is a common practice and it has already been conveyed to students that if they come 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination, they are not permitted to enter the centre,” UGC chairperson Prof M Jagadesh Kumar had said.
