DU UG Mop-Up Round 2025: The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the UG Mop-Up Round Admission 2025, which will be conducted on the basis of Class 12 marks instead of CUET scores. The application process for the mop-up round will begin today (September 4), and interested candidates can apply through the DU CSAS admission portal at admissions.du.ac.in. According to the official notice, the mop-up round will only be applicable for vacant seats in DU colleges and programmes. The list of available seats will be published on September 4, at 5 pm. Candidates who are already admitted to any DU programme or college through CUET-based counselling are not eligible for this round. Students who were registered on the CSAS UG 2025 portal but remain unadmitted as of September 4, at 5 pm can log in to their dashboard and apply under the Mop-Up Round tab. Those who have not registered earlier on the CSAS UG 2025 portal may also participate by registering on ugadmission.uod.ac.in and paying a non-refundable mop-up registration fee of Rs 1,000. DU UG Mop-Up Round 2025: What is the admission process? The seat allocation for the mop-up round will take place between September 8 and September 11, after which candidates will be required to confirm their admission by paying the prescribed fee by September 13. As per the official DU notice, candidates who are already admitted for any programme of the University based on CUET scores will not be able to participate in the Mop-Up Round. Delhi University offers a total of 71,624 undergraduate seats across 79 programmes, including 186 BA programme combinations in 60 colleges and departments. The mop-up round is intended to ensure that vacant seats are filled through Class 12 merit.
