GAT-B Application Begins 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official website exams.nta.ac.in/DBT. The application window will remain open until March 3. The GAT-B exam is scheduled to take place on April 20, and will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.

The application fee is Rs 1,300 for general (unreserved), OBC-(NCL) and EWS category candidates. For SC, ST and PwD category candidates, the application fee is Rs 650. 

GAT-B Registration 2025: Steps to apply 

– Visit to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/DBT.

– Under the “Latest News” section, click on the link: “GAT-B 2025: Click Here to Register / Login.”

– On the new page, proceed with the registration process as a new candidate.

– After registration, go to the “Registered Candidate Login” section.

– Enter your login credentials and access your account.

– Complete the application form with the necessary details.

– Upload the required documents according to the guidelines.

– Pay the application fee as instructed.

– Submit the completed application form.

– Download and save the confirmation page, and take print out of the application form for further reference.

The duration of the exam is 180 minutes or three hours. The paper will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the medium of the question paper will be English.

GAT-B is a nationwide entrance exam conducted for admission to the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) supported Post Graduate Programs in Biotechnology and related fields at participating institutions.
