GATE 2024 Result: List of institutes accepting GATE scores for admission

GATE 2024 Scores: The scorecards will available from March 23 to May 31. GATE scores will remain valid for three years from the date of the announcement of results.

GATE 2024 Result: The Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore on March 16 declared the result of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 (GATE 2024). Candidates can check their result at the official website — gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Candidates qualifying for GATE can seek admission to master’s programmes and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture, science and humanities; and doctoral programmes in relevant branches of engineering, science, and humanities, in institutions supported by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other government agencies. 

GATE score is also used by some colleges and institutions for admission to postgraduate programmes, without scholarships.

– IIT Kanpur
– IIT Kharagpur
– IIT Madras
– IIT Roorkee

In addition to the institutes listed above several others including BITS Pilani, NIT Tiruchirappalli, IIT Hyderabad, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Amity University, Jadavpur University, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), College of Engineering Pune, Delhi Technological University (DTU), Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad and NIT Warangal will also use the GATE score to admit candidates to their ME and MTech programmes.

Scorecards will be made available for download from March 23 to May 31. GATE scores will remain valid for three years from the date of the announcement of results.
