ICAI CA Foundation Result 2024 Updates: Link at icai.nic.in; 14.96% students pass

There is no provision for improvement of result of CA Foundation examination in the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. Therefore, such students who have once passed the ICAI CA Foundation examination are not eligible to apply, appear afresh or again in the Foundation examination.

In Paper 3 and 4, there were negative marking for each wrong answer. One-fourth mark was deducted for each wrong answer. Multiple darkened circles for a question are also treated as wrong answers in paper 3 and 4.

Half or more fractional marks only are rounded off to the next full mark in Paper 1 and 2. Any fraction of mark are rounded off to the next full mark in paper 3 and 4.

A candidate is declared passed in the CA Foundation examination if he secures a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the four papers, in one sitting.

An examinee has the option of applying for certified copies of his/her evaluated answer books online at seservices.icai.org along with the application fee within 30 days from the date of declaration of result. Scanned copies of evaluated answer books will be hosted on the website. The application fee is Rs 500 per paper.

To check and download the ICAI CA foundation result ofor the June 2024 session exam, candidates will have to login with their six-digit roll number and registration number.

As per the data provided by the ICAI, 49580 male candidates appeared for the examm, of which 7766 (15.66%) passed the exam. Similarly, 42320 female candidates appeared and 5983 (14.14%) passed. The total pass percentage out of 91900 candidates is 14.96% (13749).

The CA Foundation June 2024 session result has been declared at icai.org

The CA exam result is expected late evening. As per the ICAI, the CA foundation results can be checked by entering candidates' registration and roll number.

Students will be required to keep the ICAI CA foundation exam hall tickets ready to check the CA results. The ICAI registration number, CA foundation roll number and date of birth are the required credentials to check and access the CA results.

Last year, ICAI did not release the CA foundation exam merit list. Candidates who obtained 70 per cent or above will get a 'Pass with Distinction' remark in their CA foundation result card.
