ICAI CA January 2026 Registration begins at icai.org (Candidate portal screengrab)The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has begun the registration process for the CA January 2026 examinations for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final programmes. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the ICAI portal at eservices.icai.org.
The application window without a late fee will remain open until November 16, 2025, while forms submitted with a late fee will be accepted until November 19, 2025.
The CA January 2026 exams will be conducted across various centres in India and abroad. ICAI has advised candidates to fill out their forms carefully and utilise the correction window if required, as changes in exam city and medium will be permitted from November 20 to November 22, 2025.
The CA Final Group I exams are scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9, while Group II will take place on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026. For the Intermediate course, Group I exams will be held on January 6, 8, and 10, and Group II exams on January 12, 15, and 17, 2026. The Foundation course examination will be conducted on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.
A 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM will be provided for all papers except Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and Post Qualification Course papers.

Step 1: Visit the official ICAI portal at eservices.icai.org.
Step 2: Log in using your existing credentials or register as a new user.
Step 3: Select the applicable exam (Foundation, Intermediate, or Final).
Step 4: Fill in the required details, including exam city and medium.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents and pay the prescribed exam fee.
Step 6: Review and submit the application form, then download the confirmation page.
For Indian centres, the examination fee for the Intermediate Course is Rs 1,500 for a single group or unit (except Unit 2) and Rs 2,700 for both groups or Unit 2. For the Final Course, candidates need to pay Rs 1,800 for a single group and Rs 3,300 for both groups.
The fee for the Foundation Course is Rs 1,500, while the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination each carry a fee of Rs 2,000.
A late fee of Rs 600 will be applicable for candidates appearing at Indian, Thimphu, and Kathmandu centres, whereas those applying from overseas centres will have to pay a late fee of US $10 after the last date.
