The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for the admission to online distance learning and online programmes. The last date is now March 31 except for the certificate and semester courses. Earlier, the last date was March 15. The candidates need to have a DEB ID for admission.

The ID is a unique ID created by the student who wants to take admission in any ODL or online programme of any institute. It was developed by the University Grants Commission for the benefits of students so that they enrol on institutes that are recognised by the Commission. Once created, it remains valid forever.

To complete the registration process, applicants must submit all necessary documents in the specified format. IGNOU offers a wide range of programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses, with admissions available in both January and June sessions.
