GATE 2023 scorecards released; steps to download

GATE 2023 scorecards: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur on March 21 released the scorecards of candidates who appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. Candidates can check their scorecards at the official website of GATE — gate.iitk.ac.in.

The result for GATE 2023 was released on March 16. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard from the portal till May 31 without any fees.

GATE 2023 scorecards: How to download

Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE — gate.iitk.ac.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the “GATE 2023 Scorecard” link.

Step 3: Log in using credentials.

Step 4: The scorecard will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download, and take a printout for further reference.

This year, around 6.70 lakh students registered for GATE 2023 exam out of which about 5.17 lakh appeared for the exam and one lakh candidates successfully cleared the exam. The pass percentage was nearly 18 per cent.

The successful GATE students now have to go through interview rounds to get admission in IITs or to get a job in Public Sector Enterprise (PSUs). While the IITs try to judge aptitude for academics and seriousness for studies, the PSUs try to assess physical fitness and aptitude.
