This year, the pass percentage for Commerce students is 91.2%, while 79.26% of Science stream students have passed.
In this year’s JAC Class 12 exam, the commerce stream recorded a pass percentage of 91.92 per cent compared to 90.60 per cent last year, marking a marginal increase of 1.32 per cent. The science stream, on the other hand, witnessed a pass rate of 79.26 per cent, compared to 72.70 per cent in the last year’s exam — a 6.56 per cent rise.
The top ten performing districts in the commerce stream is Latehar, recording a perfect pass rate of 100.000%, followed by Lohardaga (98.690%), Simdega (98.040%), Jamtara (97.720%), Pakur (96.290%), Kodarma (95.610%), Dhanbad (94.340%), Bokaro (94.030%), Chatra (94.010%), and Giridih (93.290%).
In the science stream, Latehar emerged as the top performing district as well. The district is followed by Kodarma (86.970%), Palamu (85.790%), Hazaribagh (84.790%), Giridih (82.740%), Gumla (82.650%), Jamtara (80.530%), Deoghar (80.100%), Chatra (78.800%), and Ramgarh (78.600%).
A total of 22,204 students had registered for the Jharkhand Board Class 12 Commerce examination, out of which 22,066 appeared. Of those who appeared, 20,285 students successfully passed the exam, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 91.92%. Among the pass-outs, 12,829 students secured a first division, 7,234 achieved a second division, and 222 students passed with a third division.

The students who appeared in this year’s JAC Class 12 board exams across the different streams can check and download their marksheet from the above-mentioned websites using their details like date of birth and roll number.
The Class 12 marksheet will be available for each stream separately on the official website of the board. It will contain the marks scored by students in different subjects and other important information. To pass the Class 12 board exams, students need to secure at least 33 per cent marks.
The mark sheet available on the website will be provisional, and to get the Class 12 original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools after a few days of result declaration.
The students not satisfied with their result will have the provision to apply online for scrutiny. But it should be kept in mind that the marks obtained after board scrutiny, even if less, will be considered as final. The board will announce the details regarding JAC Class 10 supplementary exams once the Class 12 result is out.
Last year, the Class 12 result for all streams was declared by the JAC board on April 30, 2024. In 2023 it was declared for science stream on May 23 and for others on May 30, while in 2022, the date of declaration was June 21 for science and for others it was June 30.
The Class 12 exams last year were held from February 6 to February 26. A total of 3,44,822 students had appeared for the exams.While 94,433 candidates appeared in the Class 12 science exam, 25,907 students were enrolled in commerce and 2,24,502 in arts. Out of these total candidates over 2.98 lakh students cleared it from all three streams
The overall pass percentage last year was 85.48 per cent. The pass percentage in the science stream was 72.70 per cent and in arts and commerce streams, it was 93.7 per cent and 90.60 per cent respectively. Girls performed better than boys in each stream. Imdega with a passing percentage of 98.8 per cent was the top performing district.
