The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will be introducing two new subjects-- Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the new academic session 2023-24. The subjects will be elective and a student can opt for either of the subjects and not both the subjects at one time. Students having one vocational subject as an elective subject are not allowed to opt for either of the subjects. The syllabus and question paper pattern for the subjects will be published soon.
Criteria to apply for these subjects:-
--Schools who already teach Computer Science and have a proper laboratory facility available for teaching Computer Science can offer Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Permanent approved teachers with minimum qualifications of BSc in Computer Science or IT or BE/ BTech in Computer Science or IT or MCA or Hons. Graduate in Physics, Chemistry with a course in Artificial Intelligence or Data Science.
--Candidates must have studied Artificial Intelligence or Machine learning either as a part of undergraduate or postgraduate curriculum or as a part of certificate courses on AI-ML. Data Science from a reputed institute.
--Should be familiar with Python programming language
The National Testing Agency has opened the window to edit application form. "There are about 14000 candidates whose applications are in draft as they could not confirm their changes through OTP. In order to ensure that these candidates should not be left out, it has been decided to open the window for updating (adding / removing / changing) their Test Papers and adding courses / universities for a period of two days i.e. from 01 to 02 May 2023," read the official notification.

IIM Kashipur hosted its 10th Convocation for its flagship Two-Year MBA (batch of 2021- 2023), MBA Analytics, Executive MBA, and Doctoral students. The institute conferred a total of 353 students with degrees, including 9 Doctoral scholars and 344 MBA graduates (260 two-year MBA students, 58 MBA (Analytics) students, and 26 Executive MBA students).

The National Testing Agency has released the city intimation slip for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2023. Students appearing for NEET can download the city intimation slip from the official website-- neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG 2023 will be conducted on May 7.
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will conduct Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Class 11 against vacant seats for the session 2023-24. Once the notification is released students will be able to apply at the official website— navodaya.gov.in.
The provision for the same will be made. Candidates will have to apply for the selection test via online mode. The selection test will be conducted in July, and a detailed notification will be issued soon.
While the NEET UG 2023 admit card release date has not been announced by the NTA yet, as per past trends, the admit card is usually released 6 to 7 days before the exam. In 2022, NEET was conducted on July 17, admit was released on July 12. Similarly, in 2021, the admit card was released on September 6 and NEET UG was conducted on September 12.

Step 2: Click on the link on the homepage to download the TS EAMCET hall ticket.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and other credentials.
Step 4: The TS EAMCET 2023 hall ticket will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download the hall ticket and save for future reference.
In today's exam, questions are to be answered on specially designed optical machine-readable response (OMR) sheet, which will be evaluated by Optical Mark Recognition method. Thus, it is important for candidates to follow the correct method of marking. Candidates will fill in their response by darkening the appropriate circle/bubble completely with blue/black ink ball point pen, no other mark will be considered. Check more guidelines here
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023 will be conducted today (April 30). According to the official schedule, the WBJEE 2023 paper 1 of Mathematics will be conducted from 11 am till 2pm, and the paper 2 of Physics and Chemistry is scheduled to be conducted from 2 om till 4 pm.
With 69 students, including 62 from the tribal community, from Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district having cleared the JEE Main (second session), in the results announced on Saturday, the district administration, which played a key role in helping the students achieve this feat, will now help them prepare for JEE Advance exams to qualify for IIT.
