Since the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) session two answer key is released, the Agency has opened the window for objections and within the deadline, JEE aspirants will have to raise objections. A fee per question will be charged by NTA. The challenges made by JEE students without justification will not be considered. The challenges were then examined by experts, and then the final answer key was released. For those questions unanswered and marked for review, no marks will be provided.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shoolini University. The collaboration is aimed at launching a joint Minor Programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Under the MoU, the two institutions, alongside the Agricultural and Water Technology Development Hub (AWaDH), a Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Ropar, will introduce a 15-credit Minor Programme in “Artificial Intelligence + X.”
The initiative is built on a ‘Learning by Practice’ approach and will be jointly certified by Shoolini University and IIT Ropar.
It aims to equip students with AI competencies tailored to their core disciplines such as Agriculture, Biotechnology, Management, and more
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ordered a probe as some JEE Main session two aspirants claim that they missed the national-level engineering exam after arriving late to the centres, allegedly due to traffic restrictions imposed for Kalyan’s official convoy. JEE Main aspirants claimed that due to traffic restrictions, some of the aspirants missed reaching the exam centre located in the Pendurthi area.
As reported by news agency, PTI, over 25 candidates were barred from appearing in the JEE Main 2025 due to the restrictions. The release shared on the microblogging site, X by the Pawan Kalyan office asked the Visakhapatnam police to inquire into this issue and know for how long the traffic was stopped for the convoy.
If more than one option is found to be correct in JEE Main April session exam, then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
The application process for the JEE Advanced 2024 has started on April 7 for foreign national candidates including OCI and PIO candidates at the official website — jeeadv.ac.in. The registration link will remain open till May 2 for all candidates.

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 session 2 provisional answer keys at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now raise objections against discrepancies by April 13.
The provisional answer key will be released soon, however, there is no update from the NTA on the same. Once released, the JEE Main session 2 answer scripts can be downloaded from jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The seats across IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be offered and allocated through a common process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The schedule of the joint seat allocation will be announced separately by JoSAA 2025.
The top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify JEE Main 2025 will be able to register for JEE Advanced exam at jeeadv.ac.in. Those who crack JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be allowed to participate in Joint Seat Allocation process for a seat at an IIT.

The Ministry of Education has given an additional charge to Vineet Joshi, the current Secretary of the Department of Higher Education. He is appointed as the chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC). This decision has been taken following the retirement of the previous UGC chairman, Prof Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar. Joshi will discharge his duties as UGC chairperson till a full-time appointment is made or until further orders are issued.
An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, Vineet Joshi holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to earn an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, where he was a gold medalist. He later completed a PhD in Quality Management from IIFT.
JEE Advanced 2025 will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 and the result is expected by June 2. The copy of candidate responses to be available on the JEE (Advanced) 2025 website on May 22.
The last date for fee payment is May 5, up to 5 pm. A fee of Rs 3,200 will be applicable. For females and reserved category candidates, the application fee is Rs 1,600.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the online counselling registration window for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025. Eligible candidates can now register on the JAM Online Admission Portal System (JOAPS) till April 11 on the official portal at joaps.iitd.ac.in.
According to the official schedule, the first admission list for IIT JAM 2025 will be released on May 26, 2025. Candidates whose names appear on the list will be required to pay the seat booking fee online by May 30, 2025, to confirm their admission.

The JEE Main 2025 April 8 exam was held in only one shift. Chemistry emerged as the most easy section in the JEE Main April 8 evening shift, physics presented a blend of easy and moderately complex questions, while mathematics proved to be the most demanding.
In the April 7 JEE Main morning shift, mathematics was the most challenging section, chemistry was the most straightforward among the three sections and the physics section in the JEE Main 2025 ranged from easy to moderate difficulty. In the evening shift, the exam was moderate. Chemistry turned out to be easy in the second shift, physics had a mix of simple and moderately tough problems, while mathematics stood out as the toughest.

JEE Main 2025: The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 was held for admission to BE and BTech programs on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.
The JEE Main question paper is divided into two sections – A and B. Each subject has two sections. Section A is of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), and Section B contains questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. There is negative marking for incorrect answers in Section A and Section B. Four marks are allotted for each correct answer, and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer marked.
