NTA JEE Main Result 2025 Session 2 Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 Paper 1 today. Aspirants who appeared for JEE Main Paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be able to view the final answer keys and results by visiting the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. They will be able to download JEE Main results 2025 session two using registration number, date of birth and captcha code.

The NTA responded to concerns about discrepancies in JEE Main 2025 Session 2 answer key, including issues such as incorrect answer keys, wrongly recorded responses, and blank response sheets, which had drawn criticism from candidates, parents, and experts. In a series of posts on X, the NTA said that it follows a transparent examination process. The agency also urged candidates not to be misled by reports that may cause unnecessary doubt or anxiety.
For the JEE Main 2025 session 2, candidates are required to enter their application number and password to access the scorecards. The result will include the scores attained in both BE and BTech papers. The NTA conducted the JEE main session 2 exam on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 for Paper 1 (BE, BTech), while Paper 2 (BArch and BPlan) was conducted on April 9. Candidates who rank within the top 2.5 lakh performers in the JEE Main 2025 exam will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. JEE Advanced is a centralised gateway to admission in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

The JEE Main question paper is divided into two sections – A and B. Each subject has two sections. Section A is of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), and Section B contains questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. There is negative marking for incorrect answers in Section A and Section B. Four marks are allotted for each correct answer, and one mark is deducted for each wrong answer marked.
The NTA scores and rank of BE /BTech of JEE Main 2025 for all candidates who appeared in Session 1 as well as in Session 2 for JEE Main 2025 will be declared on the NTA websites. This shall comprise the NTA scores obtained by the candidate in Session 1, NTA scores obtained in Session 2, and NTA scores for those who appeared in both sessions (best of the two Total NTA scores) along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced 2025 provided and subject to other conditions of eligibility being met. The rank shall comprise the All India rank and the All India category rank.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Paper 1 (BE and Btech) was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. The results for session 1, paper 1 were declared on February 11, 2025. Over 12.5 lakh candidates participated in the exam, with a 95.93% attendance rate. Among the many who participated, 14 candidates secured a perfect NTA score of 100.
The top 2.5 lakh candidates who qualify JEE Main 2025 will be able to register for JEE Advanced exam at jeeadv.ac.in. Those who crack JEE Advanced 2025 will be allowed to participate in Joint Seat Allocation process for a seat at an IIT.
The result of JEE Main 2025 of the candidates who indulge in Unfair means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared. Similarly, the result of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the examination on his behalf will be cancelled. Any candidate who appears in a Session more than once will lead to cancellation of his/ her candidature. No plea will be entertained in this regard, NTA said.
