JEE Main Result 2025 Highlights: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 19 announced the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) session 2 result on the official website. The link to access the JEE Main 2025 April session result for paper 1 is now active at the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. This year, 24 students got 100 percentile.
NTA conducted the second session of JEE Main 2025 from April 2 to 9, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 result is announced along with the cut-off by the NTA. The JEE Main session 2 result includes the cut-off for JEE Advanced, all India rank holders and state-wise toppers.

NTA on April 8 concluded the paper 1 BE and BTech paper exams in the second session of JEE Main 2025. NTA had released a JEE Main final answer key 2025 on April 17. In the JEE Main 2025 April exam final answer key for paper 1 released last evening, two questions have been dropped. The first appeared in the April 3 first shift (domestic set), and the second dropped question is from April 2 first shift (international set). However, JEE answer key has been removed from the official website and will be uploaded today at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
Unanswered or Marked for Review: 0 marks
Multiple Correct Options: +4 marks will be awarded to those who select at least one correct option
All Options Correct: +4 marks will be awarded to all candidates who attempt the question
How to Check JEE Main 2025 Result Online
Candidates can follow these simple steps to check their result status:
Step 1: Visit the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘JEE Main 2025 Result’ link on the homepage
Step 3: Enter your application number and password
Step 4: Your JEE Main 2025 result will appear on the screen in PDF format
Step 5: Download and save the scorecard PDF
Step 6: Keep a printed copy for future reference
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially confirmed that the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 results will be declared by April 19, 2025. Candidates can view their results on the official websites — jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.
To download the scorecard, students will need to log in using their application number and password or date of birth. Alongside the results, the NTA will also publish the final answer key and the cut-off scores.

In the JEE Main 2025 January session, as many as 12 questions were dropped by NTA. The final answer key was released on the afternoon of February 10.
In the JEE Main April session, two questions are dropped. The final answer key was released on April 18 after considering the grievances raised by the candidates between April 11 and 13.
For these dropped questions, four marks will be awarded to all candidates who appeared for the test.
JEE Main January session result was declared on February 11.
JEE Main 2025 is being held in two rounds this year – the first in January and the second in April. If a candidate appeared in both the sessions, the best of the candidate’s scores in JEE Main 2025 will be considered while preparing the final merit list and all India ranks (AIR).

JEE Main NTA scores are the normalised scores across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The JEE Main 2025 marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. The NTA score of a candidate has been calculated as follows:
