Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2025 Link on karresults.nic.in, kseab.karnataka.gov.in: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on April 8 declared the results of Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2025 for exam 1. Education minister Madhu Bangarappa, Principal Secretary (School Education and Literacy) Rashmi Mahesh, and other officials are present at the press conference. The overall average percentage of PU is 69.16 percent.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2025 LIVE: Check Direct Link to Check Marks

For the urban and rural area-wise result, 5,03,900 students from urban areas appeared, of which 3,75,188 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 74.55%. In rural areas, 1,34,505 students appeared, and 93,251 passed, making the pass percentage 69.33%.

This year, the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams were conducted from March 1 to March 20. The students who appeared for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official website using their registration number 

Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2025: How to check 2nd PUC results

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Karnataka board- karresults.nic.in.

Step 2:  On the homepage, click on the ‘PUC II Result 2025’ link.

Step 3: Now enter the registration number and choose your respective stream – Science, Commerce, or Arts.

Step 4: Click on submit. The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: View and download your result for future reference

The 2nd PUC marksheet mentions the marks scored by students in different subjects. To collect their Karnataka 2nd PUC  original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result 2025 declaration.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2025: How much marks I need to pass PU II exam?

In 2024, the 2nd PUC exam was held from March 1 to 22, and the result was announced on April 10. Out of 6,81,079 students who appeared, 5,52,690 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 81.15%. The overall pass percentage stood at: 89.96% for  Science, 80.94% for  Commerce and  68.36% for Arts.

Last year’s gender-wise pass data showed that 84,632 boys and 64,310 girls appeared for the exam. Among them, 26,496 boys cleared the exam (pass percentage: 31.31%) and 26,009 girls passed (pass percentage: 35.25%), indicating a slightly better performance by female candidates.

As per the Board’s press release, a total of 7,13,862 students – 3,35,468 boys, 3,78,389 girls, and five transgender persons had registered for the Karnataka PUC exam 2025.

The Karnataka board will hold 2nd PUC Exam 2 and Exam 3 for students who did not pass the 2nd PUC Exam 1 in 2025. Exam 2 is scheduled to take place by the end of April 2025. To help students enhance their overall performance, KSEAB has introduced a three-exam system for this academic year—PUC Exam 1, PUC Exam 2, and PUC Exam 3. Among the three attempts, the highest score will be taken into account for the final Karnataka 2nd PUC result. In rare and justified cases, students who miss the first exam may be granted another opportunity to appear.

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board conducts the annual KSEAB SSLC exam, which is equivalent to Class 10, while the Department of Pre-University Education conducts the Karnataka 1st and 2nd PUC examinations each year.
