The National Testing Agency (NTA) has added new exam centres abroad. Kuwait City, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lampur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah and Singapore are the new exam centre cities added to the list of exam centres of NEET UG 2024.

The NTA on February 9 started the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) and the application window will remain open till March 9.

Candidates who have already selected centres in India and paid the fee without the option for foreign centres will have the opportunity to correct their centre and country choice during the NEET UG 2024 application correction process, NTA said while announcing the new exam centres.

Also, candidates in foreign countries wishing to change their centres to foreign cities can make corrections during the application correction process. However, they will be required to pay the differential amount, NTA added.

For candidates applying afresh from foreign countries, they can change their centres to foreign countries directly from the drop-down menu during the application.

The application form, information bulletin, syllabus and the exam pattern is available at neet.ntaonline.in.

Several changes are also made in the NEET UG exam. The application form which was earlier hosted on the neet.nta.nic.in, is now available at a new website – neet.ntaonline.in. The application fee has also been increased for all the categories of candidates. NEET UG question comprises four subjects — physics, chemistry, botany and zoology and NMC has earlier in 2023 made minor changes to the NEET syllabus for the 2024 exams. The change in the NEET UG syllabus has been made to accommodate the changes in the NCERT syllabus post-Covid.
