The National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 5 conducted the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. Since then, the students have been waiting for the NEET UG answer key. However, NTA has not given any official date, as of now.

Once released, the NEET UG answer key can be downloaded from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The NEET UG provisional answer key can be challenged by students within a stipulated deadline. After consultations with an expert committee, the NTA will then release the final answer key, based on which the result will be prepared and declared.

But before any official update, let’s have a look at past years’ trends as to when NTA released the answer key.

Last year, on June 4, the NTA released the answer key for the students and then on June 13 they declared the results. There are chances that NTA can release results in late May or before the Lok Sabha elections results. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and induced lockdown, the academic calendar of was changed and the NEET UG examination took place in September.

The NEET UG 2024 answer key can be challenged with a fee of Rs 200 which is non-refundable. Candidates have to pay the required amount of fee to object to the response within the stipulated time. Candidates should remember that no issues and enquiries will be entertained after the release of the NEET UG final answer key.
