Chelsi Jain — Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi
Coming from a small district of Haryana, Ferozepur Jhirka, it was a dream come true when I qualified NEET UG. I secured an all India rank of 1431 in NEET UG 2022. When there was a day left for the NEET exam, I made sure that instead of spending time cramming things, I spent time relaxing my mind. Earlier, I had noted all of the mistakes I made during my preparation and I did a thorough revision of that list in the last few days before the exam. During the last three months before the exam, I stuck only to NCERT and mock tests.
Rishit Agarwal — All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi
I was exposed to this profession very early on in life as my mother is a surgeon and my father is a pediatrician. Seeing them in such a noble profession inspired me to become a doctor. However, I want to become a Doctor of Medicine. On the last day of my preparation, I went through the mistakes I was making in mock tests, periodic tables in Chemistry, ecology data, reactions in Inorganic Chemistry and uses of various salts.
Anshika Bharti — Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi
It was my mother’s dream to see me become a doctor and I made sure I worked hard to make that manifestation come true. I really enjoy studying and pursuing this course. On the last day of my preparation, I went through the mistakes I made in my mock tests, which were curated and provided to me by my tutors. I went through the notes of Inorganic Chemistry, graphs in Physics and diagrams in Biology.
Now that I am pursuing this course, I have realised that there is so much to learn in this field in the form of various subjects such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology and more.
Eeshaan Agarwal — All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi
My parents are doctors and I grew up watching them treat their patients with good intentions and dedication. When I was a small boy, I used to see how my parents worked with dedication and passion to treat their patients. I always wanted to influence the lives of people the way my parents do, so I decided to pursue the same profession.
My parents suggested that I shouldn’t stress a lot on the last day of preparation. Keeping that in mind, I woke up late at around 12 pm and relaxed the whole day. I took one mock test in the evening and analysed my mistakes. I relied completely on NCERT books and solved modules provided by my coaching centre in the last month of my preparation.
Ayushi — Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi
On the last day of my preparation, I relaxed and spent time with my family. Later in the evening, I revised all the mistakes that I have been making in mock tests and went through the notes to clear any last minute doubts. I did not go beyond NCERT for my preparation and I think that was sufficient.
