The Punjab Board has released the marksheets of class 10 students at pseb.ac.in

PSEB matric students will be able to check their marksheets from today at the official website — pseb.ac.in at 10 am today (April 19).

This time, 186908 students from government schools appeared for the exam, out of which 181908 students passed, making the pass percentage as 97.32%. A total of 72423 out of 73896 students passed from private schools, taking the pass percentage to 98.01%. In aided schools, a total of 20294 appeared and 19017 students passed which took the pass percentage to 93.71%.

The pass percentrage of urban area is 96.60% as a total of 94270 candidates (out of  97586) passed the exams. Similarly, the pass percentage of rural area is 97.58% as 179078 students, out of 183512, passed the exams.

Students can check their class 10 (matric) results on PSEB website from 10 am onwards tomorrow, i.e. Aoril 19.

This year, the overall pass percentage has been recorded at 97.24%. However, the pass percentage has seen a decline this time.

The Punjab Board chairperson, Dr Satbir Debi, declared the PSEB matric (class 10th) result today around 1:30 pm.

District-wise Amritsar has been identified as the best performing district with 99.24% pass percentage while Fatehgarh Sahib has the lowest pass percentage (94.51%).

A total of 394 students failed the class 10 exam, which is 0.14 of the total students.

The PSEB matric result has been activated at pseb.ac.in

This year, a total of 2,81,098 students appeared for matric exams, and 2,73,348 passed.

Like last year, girls have outperformed boys by scoring a pass percentage of 98.11% while boys achieved a percentage of 96.47%

This time, PSEB recorded a pass percentage of 97.24 per cent, which is a slight decrease from last year's 97.54 per cent.

To access the Class 10 results for Punjab Board, firstly, visit either the official website pseb.ac.in or indiaresults.com. Next, navigate to the 'Results' section on the homepage. Then, click on the link labeled 'Punjab Board Class 10th Result 2024'. You'll be prompted to enter your credentials, including your roll number and date of birth, in the provided fields. Once submitted, the Class 10 result for 2024 will be displayed on the screen. Finally, you can view and download the result for future reference.

The press conference for PSEB class 10th result has not started yet. The result was earlier scheduled to release at 2:30 pm, but has been preponed to 1 pm.

In 2022, the rank 1 holder was rewarded Rs 1 lakh while the rank 2 and 3 were also rewarded cash awards.

The PSEB result will be announced today at 1 pm and the marksheets will be available tomorrow onwards. However, these marksheets will act as a provisional marksheet. Original scorecards will be issued by the board later which the students can collect from their respective schools.

Students should save and print their class 10 results for future reference. It's important to verify that all details are accurate and free of spelling errors. If students can't find their roll number and registration number, they can locate them on their admit card or hall ticket.

In 2022, PSEB conducted the class 10 board exams in two terms with each covering 50 per cent of the syllabus. The results for the class 10 board exams were declared according to the average of both terms.

While it is not clear whether or not the result will be available via SMS this time, earlier students could also check their results via SMS. For that, students had to type PB10 <roll number> and send to 56767650.

In 2023, as many as 653 students had failed to clear the Class 10 exams and 6171 students had to re-appear for the matric exams.

The Punjab Board will release the matric result at 1:30 pm in a press conference which will be held at the PSEB headquarters in Mohali.

Last year, Pathankot emerged as the top district with the highest 99.19 per cent pass percentage, while Barnala was the lowest 95.96 per cent.

Last year, Punjab board students performed better in English than in Punjabi. English subject had a 99.22 per cent which is slightly higher than the pass percentage in Punjabi subject 99.1 per cent

Last year, government schools recorded a pass percentage of 97.54 per cent, while that of private schools is 97 per cent. Rural areas recorded 97.94 per cent, which is around one per cent higher than that of urban areas (96.77 per cent)

The PSEB examination was conducted at over 3,808 exam centres.

As per the official data provided by PSEB, over 2,97,048 students appeared for the class 10 exam 2024.
