PSEB 12th Result 2023 Updates: Punjab Board declares Class 10, 12 results

Speaking on subject-wise performance of the students, the Vice Chairman said that Commerce has a pass percentage of 98.30 while Humanities recorded a pass percentage of 90.62 per cent, Science has 98.68 percent and Vocational has 84.66 per cent. According to the Vice Chairman, Gurdaspur district has the highest 96.91 per cent pass percent in the state while Barnala has the lowest 80.47 per cent Urban areas recorded a pass percent of 92.90 percent while the rural areas, the pass percentage was 92.17 per cent. With 491 marks out of 500 or 98.2 per cent, Gurleen Kaur, daughter of a farmer, has topped Mohali in class 12th examination of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB).

In PSEB 12th result, Urban areas have a pass percent of 92.90 percent while the rural areas has a pass percentage of 92.17

In the PSEB 12th result, Girls have performed better this year just like last year. Girls recorded a passing percentage of 95.14 per cent and that of boys is 90.25 percent

PSEB Activates Class 12 result link at pseb.ac.in

Over 18000 students have compartment in one or more papers this year. If a student fails in one or more exams in the PSEB 12th result, they will be given an opportunity to appear in the compartment exams. The dates of the supplementary exams will be released after the result declaration

This year there is a decline of around 3 percent in pass percentage than the previous year. In 2022, the board recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.99 per cent which dropped to 92.47% this year

As many as 18,569 students will appear in the compartment exams/ Meanwhile, 1.225 students could not clear the examination

In PSEB result declared today, District Gurdaspur has the highest pass percentage of 96.91 percent in the state while Barnala has the lowest 80.47 percent

Here's how students performed in all four streams last year

Science (Medical) stream result - 97.52%

Science (Non-medical) stream result - 98.02%

Commerce result - 97.75%

Humanities result - 96.68%

In the PSEB result declared last year, three girls secured the same marks and topped the state board exams. Arshdeep Kaur of Ludhiana, Arshpreet Kaur of Mansa and Kulwinder Kaur of Faridkot are at top 3 positions. All three girls have secured 497 out of 500 with 99.40 percentage.

The PSEB result scorecard will likely be available from tomorrow. This online scorecard will act as a provisional marksheet. Original marksheet will be issued by the board later which the students can collect their respective schools.
