PSEB 8th Class Result 2023 Released: How to download scorecards online

Punjab Board 8th Class Result 2023: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on April 28 declared the result for Class 8. Students can check their Punjab Board result at the official website at 10 am on April 28 on the official website pseb.ac.in. The students can also log onto punjab.indiaresults.com to check their results. Lovepreet Kaur from Government Girls School, Mansa is the state topper scoring full marks.

The second position is grabbed by Gurankit Kaur who is also from the same school and scored 600/600 marks. However, since Lovepreet Kaur is the youngest, she has been adjudged the topper.

PSEB Punjab Board 8th Result 2023: How to Check Marks Online

Step 1: Visit the official website — pseb.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “PSEB class 8 result 2023” link.

Step 3: Enter your details like name, roll number, mobile number and date of birth. 

Step 4: Click on submit and the class 8 result will appear.  

Step 5: Save the result for future reference. 

As per PSEB, a total of 2,98,127 students appeared for their Class 8 exams of which 2,92,206 have passed taking the overall pass percentage  at 98.01. Girls outshone boys registering a 98.68 pass percentage while male students scored 97.41.

As many as 5,000 students will appear for the supplementary exams, the dates of which will be released soon. As per RTE, students appearing in Class 5 and 8 board exams are not detained however, they have to appear for the re-exam.

PSEB Class 8 exams commenced from February 25 and ended on March 21 and practical examinations started from March 22 and ended on April 3. The PSEB might activate the result link tomorrow.

In 2022, the Punjab School Education Board recorded an overall 98.25 pass per cent for the class 8 examination in which a total of 3,02,558 passed.

This month, PSEB has also announced the Class 5 result in which Jaspreet Kaur of Mansa bagged the first position in the state, by securing cent per cent marks.
